The Broken Script on Roblox is not just a horror sandbox — it is a retelling of a November 2018 ARG event that killed a Minecraft clan server. The Roblox recreation keeps the names, the dates, and the atmosphere even after the title changed to A Broken Promise. This page is the story so you stop treating Null as a game mechanic and start treating him as a character.

The short version

A clan server called 0nullvoid0’s group ran normally until 1 November 2018. Something arrived — later identified as The Broken End — and the server stopped being a server. Chat died. Discord died. Signs changed. The clan leader, xXram2dieXx, became Null: a splinter soul that still logs into worlds and types. Circuit walked through the wreck and killed people like Revuxor. Integrity sits under bedrock and acts like the author.

Timeline

Before November 2018 — The golden age

The clan built bases: clan_build, cave_base, and others documented on structures. Players gathered resources, chatted, and apparently did not expect a horror mod to activate in their save. Records mention Disc 13 as a corrupting influence — Curved is what listening to it too long did to DyeXD412.

October 13, 2010 — First Void contact

The ARG places first documented Void contact on this date: the Hubble Space Telescope was photographed covered in black and red biomass. The Void predates Minecraft. It predates the clan. It was waiting.

1 November 2018 — The collapse

Something happened in the clan server. Chat died mid-sentence. Discord went dark. Signs that once said useful things now said null or 00.00.0000. xXram2dieXx did not die in the conventional sense. A splinter of that player became Null — a soul entity who can still join worlds, still type in chat, and still answer Hello.

After the collapse — Circuit

Circuit did not cause the collapse. He walked through it. Revuxor — a player who tried to understand the Void — was killed and left as a reminder on the floor of clan_build. Circuit disguises, hunts, and has been confirmed to crawl out of a computer monitor in the ARG canon. The Roblox recreation copies the silhouette.

Integrity under bedrock

Null’s chat hint for Integrity is “Deep down under the bedrock.” Integrity is the author-shaped Void creature the ARG narrative frames as responsible for the corruption. The fight against Integrity is the endgame of the Java mod. The Roblox place lists him as a boss. See how to beat Integrity.

The Void — the real antagonist

The Void is not a character. It is the substance and the intention behind the entities. Void Creatures — Integrity, Circuit, The Broken End, Fever, Fractured, Chords — are all made of the same black-and-red tendril geometry. Revuxor’s research notes in the ARG suggest the Void connects to cosmic voids: areas in space where the universe is dark. The October 2010 Hubble photograph is cited as first contact.

The Void wants to consume. The moon, the Earth, the player. Entities are former humans who were transformed — Null, Hetzer, Faraway, r2. Some retained consciousness (souls). Some did not. Integrity appears to be the direct expression of the Void’s will.

What the Roblox place keeps

The A Broken Promise listing credits the artists who built the Minecraft ARG. It also warns not to reuse original entities or assets for other media. The Roblox recreation is an unofficial retelling, not a sequel. The Void, the entities, and the November 2018 date all carry over.

Chat triggers inherited from the ARG let you ask the wreck questions. The answers are in-character for Null, Circuit, and Integrity. Treat the chat log as dialogue, not a debug console.

2. Find Null, answer Hello.
3. Type Void. Listen.
4. Ask What do you want? — the answer is freedom.
5. Ask Integrity — Null will point downward.
6. If you find clan_build or cave_base, read the signs. Signs dated 1.11.2018 or 00.00.0000 are lore.
7. If the world locks and bedrock calls, you are in the Integrity fight.

The lore is not handed to you in a quest log. It is in the chat, in the signs, and in the structure of the world. Play slow.
