The Broken Script Settings Checklist

Print this in your head. The Broken Script on Roblox hides its config behind TAB, not behind /TBS_config. If you skip this checklist you will fight VHS more than Circuit.

Every session

1. Confirm place 88131666518447 — links hub.
2. Prefer a private server or a tiny friend group.
3. Press TAB. If nothing opens on mobile, tap the TAB control near the Roblox menu.
4. VHS / black bars: lower or off until you can see treelines. Horror stays; blindness goes.
5. Volume: loud events exist. Keep a headroom so Circuit does not clip your ears.
6. Remember Z zoom and Shift sprint — controls.
7. Close any floating GUI you did not open. That is an exploit overlay — script safety.
8. Do not type Minecraft commands to “test.” They will not fire and they clutter chat.

First session extra

• Read getting started.
• Skim entity tiers so you know looking can be a fail.
• Keep chat triggers closed until you mean it.
• Turn off region chat experiments if Roblox is hiding join messages you need for Null.

Graphics and performance

This recreation is blocky and overlay-heavy. If your frame time spikes during events, drop Roblox graphics, not the horror. Fullbright scripts are not a graphics setting. They are exploits.

Disable other overlay injectors (external FPS counters that hook the client) if the place already shakes the screen. ARG flavor plus two overlays is how people think Integrity crashed them when it was just software.

Copy-command trap list (do not expect these)

/removevhs, /tbs_config, /nullstatus, /structures, /reputation, /pvp, pass-code 2018. If one works, you joined a clone. Enjoy it, but do not bring those habits back to A Broken Promise.

After an event

Re-open TAB. Some ARG events mess with sliders and labels. If Settings looks like an error, wait, then rejoin. Do not download a “repair tool.”

When a patch adds a real in-game config page beyond TAB, updates will say so and this checklist will gain a step. Until then, TAB is the tool.

Run it. Then go play slow.

Party-call version

Read the checklist out loud once when friends join. The person who skips VHS will be the person who sprints at Nothingiswatching. Make TAB a ritual, not a suggestion.

If Settings fails to open, do not install a repair executable. Rejoin. If it still fails, you may be in an event that is mocking the HUD. Wait. Then try again. The event tier list already warned you that fake errors are flavor until they ask for a download.

Keep this page on a phone while Roblox is full screen. That is the whole tool: a second screen, not a script.

After you die

Run the checklist again. Deaths reset nothing in TAB, but they reset your brain. People rejoin with VHS maxed and sprint into the same hallway. Make the ritual boring: TAB, bars, volume, Z, Shift, then walk.

If a clone added extra sliders, write them down and still do not paste Java commands. The controls page stays the source for the main place. Clones can be toys. A Broken Promise is the one this checklist is for. Walk slowly after every rejoin.
